You can even visit both Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay! This location has it all – exciting adventures, incredible rides and shows, plus opportunities to meet favorite characters.
You’ll want to plan your trip well in advance, especially if you have young children or a busy job, but planning can also be extremely helpful when it comes to scheduling-related issues at theme parks. If you’re planning on a 1-day trip to Universal Orlando, look into their Express Passes! The parks are quite large and the lines can be pretty long and those passes are HUGE time savers!
A day at Universal Orlando is not a quick hour long trip. That place is too darn fun to leave in an hour anyway. Be ready for a full day of fun, fantastic eats and some shopping. Those backpacks come in handy for snacks, holding your Harry Potter wand, rain ponchos…you name it. You’d be crazy not to carry one!
This goes for tickets as well as dining reservations, VIP Tours, Express Passes etc. And the earlier, the better! These days, walk up options for tours, character dining etc are VERY scarce! So be smart, use your noggin and BOOK IN ADVANCE
While we’re on that subject…if you’re looking for a Universal Orlando Photographer…(psssst that’d be me)…book that ahead of time too! As much as we’d love to meet you, if you contact us a week before your Orlando vacation, you may be out of luck and I’d hate that for you!
You’ll want to check the forecast before you leave for your trip. Weather apps are great help but if you know anything about Florida weather, those apps can be dead wrong. LOL. Florida’s hurricane season goes from the beginning of June until the end of November and in a few short days, the weather can go from amazing to dreadful. Also ask how strong the winds are that day if you have park reservations.
